Bird Woman’s River: Sacagawea’s Diligence in a Historic Journey
In this lesson, students will study the diligent behavior of Sacagawea throughout her journey with the Lewis and Clark expedition. They will read about how her decision to save their supplies in an icy river showed her diligence and learn from this example how they can be diligent in their own lives.
